The Patriarch of Our Entire Leisz Family
VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY WISHES to Billy Waters. He is the eldest living male of all the Leisz descendants in every one of our seven branches of the family. Billy turns 89 on Monday, July 27th.
Billy was around "way back when"…since 1931! He remembers
- Al Leisz the dentist (Anton’s son)
- Stuart Leisz (Frank’s grandson)
- AnnaMarie Leisz Meyer (Leopold’s daughter)
- Fred Leisz (Leopold’s son)
- Marion Podd and her daughter Gail (Frank’s daughter and granddaughter)
- Tracy Minnichsoffer Klingelhoets (Mary Leisz Minnichsoffer’s daughter) and many, many more of the old gang.
Billy was at our 2002 Family Reunion, and when he was a child, teen and young adult, he drove to Turtle Lake to visit the relatives there with the Leisz gang from Cleveland.

BILLY IS SHOWN AT LEFT WITH HIS WIFE OF 61 YEARS, CATHIE ROSSI WATERS AT THEIR HOME ON THE WEST SIDE OF CLEVELAND, OHIO. TOGETHER THEY HAVE 11 CHILDREN AND 59 GRANDCHILDREN! BILLY IS AN ONLY CHILD, WHICH IN SOME WAYS, MAKES THIS ALL THE MORE REMARKABLE!!
