2023 LEISZ FAMILY REUNION IN TURTLE LAKE, WISCONSIN—A BIG SUCCESS!

She was 18 years old when Jack Leopold Leisz, the youngest of her siblings, was born in 1921. So big sis Ann Leisz Linden looked on Jackie as sort of her son, since she had no children of her own with husband Arnold Linden. Ann wrote regularly and often to Jackie when he was in World War II for 3 years, Nov. 1942 to Dec. 1945. Here Jackie is home on leave after Army basic training in spring 1943, before departing in August 1943 to serve 25 months overseas, first in North Africa, and then in Italy.
